A 1920s hill bungalow turned hotel on the ridge above Chowrasta, with fireplaces, a library and front rooms that look straight at Kanchenjunga on clear mornings. The toy train station is a 15-minute walk downhill.

Lovely setting, thin walls
Beautiful property and friendly staff, but we could hear the neighbouring room at night. Ask for a corner room.
