Tour of Do Dham — Yamunotri & Gangotri for 7 days. Overall arrangements were very good. Our darshan at both Yamunotri and Gangotri was very nice, the hotels were good and our coordinator stayed in touch throughout and even met us personally at Dehradun.

From the houseboat in Srinagar to the camp at Pangong, every stay was comfortable and our driver Bashir knew every photo stop on the Zojila road. The team checked on us every evening and handled a landslide delay without any stress for us.

Our guide Karma paced the Tiger’s Nest climb perfectly and knew every story behind the dzongs. Punakha in spring was beautiful and the hotels were warm and spotless.

The jungle lodge was beautiful and the naturalist was brilliant with our children. We had four safaris and saw a tigress with cubs on the second morning.

We booked the one-bedroom houseboat through the site and the crew cooked karimeen fry and appam for us. The village canoe ride the next morning was the highlight.

Munnar was misty and magical and the private houseboat was the highlight — fresh fish curry cooked on board as we drifted through the paddy fields.
