Four hand-carved walnut-and-cedar houseboats moored on Nigeen Lake, the calmer neighbour of Dal. Each has a sun deck, a sitting room with papier-mâché ceilings and en-suite bedrooms with heated blankets. Your houseboy serves kahwa on arrival and Kashmiri breakfasts on the deck.
