Route guidelines
Take the DND or Noida route to the Yamuna Expressway, a fast six-lane toll road all the way to Agra. Leave by 6am to reach the Taj Mahal soon after it opens at sunrise.
Good to know
The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. Petrol and diesel vehicles cannot go right up to the gates — battery buses and golf carts run from the parking areas.
